Helping our members
We're here to help our members achieve their financial goals and dreams, which is why we offer the following additional services in our branches.
A cashier's check can be requested at all branch locations. You'll need to provide the name of the payee. Please view the fee schedule for the service fee.
We offer Visa® and Discover credit card cash advances for members and non-members. This is a free service.
Coin machines are available at all of our branches except Easton, Bowie, Greenbelt and Lexington Park. This service is a free service for members. Non-members may also use the coin machine for a charge of 7% of the deposit amount.
Members can request and be instantly issued a new debit card at all branches. Please view the fee schedule for the service fee. If you need to replace an ATM or credit card, the request can be made in a branch or by calling us at 301.779.8500. The card will then be sent via mail.
Members can request a special signature guarantee for the transfer of securities. Prior to visiting a branch, please call us at 301.779.8500 to schedule an appointment. Please view the fee schedule for the service fee.
We offer notary services to members to verify signatures. We do not offer notary services for Last Will and Testaments. Prior to visiting a branch, please call us at 301.779.8500 to schedule an appointment. Please view the fee schedule for the service fee.
U.S. Savings Bonds can be redeemed by visiting a branch. More information about savings bonds can be found at TreasuryDirect®.
Members can purchase Visa gift cards at any of our branch locations. There is a fee of $3.95 per card purchased and the cards are not re-loadable. The minimum balance on a gift card is $10 and the maximum is $1,000.
Members can request a domestic wire transfer by visiting a branch or calling the Contact Center at 301.779.8500. If the request is made over the phone, a Funds Transfer Agreement must have previously been completed in a branch before the request can be initiated. We do not offer money orders, traveler's checks or the purchase of savings bonds.
